Flood Handling, Jakarta City Council Vice Chairwoman Appreciates Teguh's Quick Response

Jakarta City Council Vice Chairwoman, Ima Mahdiah appreciated the quick response of Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi in conducting mitigation of flood potential.

"We appreciate the quick response of Acting Jakarta Governor. Hopefully the related agencies will also handle it well. City Park and Forestry, Water Resources, Regional Disaster Handling Agencies must cooperate," she said, Friday (12/6).

Ima reminded BPBD and regional heads to do anticipation by collecting data of prone to flood areas. Those areas need higher priority.

"Local residents must be ready if disaster occurs. Rubber boats must be also well prepared," she added.

Ima requested City Park and Forestry to also collect data and handle prone to fall trees for the sake of resident safety.

As for information, Jakarta Provincial Government cooperates with BMKG to anticipate high rainfall for the next days.

Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi instructed all related agencies to be ready and prepare with the impact of rainy season.
