The South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is building a new water channel on Jalan Wahid, Ciganjur Urban Village, Jagakarsa Sub-district. It is targeted for completion by the end of December.

Jagakarsa Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Sartono said the channel was built to follow up on residents' aspirations through Regional Development Planning Forums (Musrenbang).
"This channel is built, as the area has yet to have a proper channel," he expressed, Wednesday (12/4).

It has been ongoing since November 28, 2024, and is now being accelerated using an excavator.

The work received appreciation from one of the residents, Kurniawan (47). "Hope it can be done soon and function well, especially during the rainy season," he said.
