As the part of mitigation, Jakarta Regional Disaster Handling Agency keeps prepare to face the situation by strengthening disaster handling efforts. The preparedness is aimed to protect residents and minimize loss because of disaster.

Jakarta BPBD Implement Head, Isnawa Adji said his side has activated Disaster Post that operates 24 hours in all Mayor and Regent Offices.

Moreover, 267 personnel are deployed to every urban village to cooperate with RT, RW and LMK to make sure the disaster handling runs fast and effective.

" We're also focusing on strong wind . Tree monitoring and pruning will be run together with City Park and Forestry Agency," he said, Friday (12/6).
