Jakarta Provincial Government held Rainy Season Anticipation Preparedness Roll Call 2024 at Silang Monas, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Friday (11/22) morning.

Teguh said the preparedness roll call is part of Jakarta Provincial Government's commitment and readiness to face challenges in rainy season, especially the hydrometeorological disasters potential.

Second, preparing flood management facilities and infrastructures, including stationary and mobile water pumps at various flood-prone points, boats and evacuation facilities, as well as disaster alert posts.

"Fourth, I invite all Jakarta residents, through RT, RW, and community leaders, to be active in maintaining environmental cleanliness, not littering, and monitoring/reporting potential disasters around their areas," he continued.
Fifth, Teguh appealed all Jakarta Provincial Government rank are on alert and vigilant. It starts from the provincial, city, sub-district and urban village to be alert and vigilant especially during heavy rain.
Teguh also instructed his ranks to do regular monitoring of infrastructure condition, disaster-prone areas, and readiness of logistic supplies. It is aimed to ensure readiness in facing various possibilities.
"Finally, we will also provide education and socialization for residents related to disaster mitigation steps, including saving ourself during flood, evacuating to refugee location, and emergency number," he stated.
