Jakarta administration has finally set the 2025 Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) by Rp 5,396,761. This amount is up 6.5 percent from the previous year's wage.

I have signed the Jakarta Governor's Decree regarding the 2025 UMP

Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi said the amount of the 2025 UMP was in accordance with applicable regulations.

"Minister of Manpower (Permenaker)'s Regulation Number 16/2024 on 2025 UMP sets a wage increase formula of around 6.5 percent," he expressed, when he visited the evacuation site for fire survivors at SDN 09 Kebon Kosong, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (12/11).

He added Jakarta had also held a meeting with various parties on December 9 and 10, 2024, to discuss the amount of the 2025 UMP.

"I have signed the Jakarta Governor's Decree regarding the 2025 UMP as a result of the meeting which discussed the wage increase formula contained in the Minister of Manpower Regulation," he uttered.
