Kalideres Bus Terminal Ready to Face Passenger Surge Ahead of Nataru Holiday

The management of Kalideres Bus Terminal, West Jakarta prepares various preparations in facing Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays.

Kalideres Bus Terminal Head, Revi Zulkarnaen said his side anticipates the passenger surge by running several preparations.

"Kalideres Bus Terminal has prepared 100 regular inter-province buses. The bus number can be added up too," he said, Sunday (12/15).

Revi added that his side also cooperates with UPT KIR Kedaung Kali Angke to hold ramp check or checking the bus physical condition as well as vehicle administration and permits completeness.

"Ramp check is run in two stages on November 19-December 17, 2024 and December 18 to January 5, 2025," he added.

Ramp check, he continued, is checking the braking system, wiper, sign lamp, headlight, extinguisher, glass breaker, first aid kit and complete vehicle registration.

"We must ensure that passengers are arrive safely and securely at their destination by ensuring buses condition through the ramp check," he stated.
