Transjakarta, Telkomsel to Improve Service for Customers

PT Transjakarta and PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkomsel) are collaborating in two things, namely naming rights for Widya Chandra Bus Stop, South Jakarta and the provision of Tap on Bus (ToB) and Tap on Mikrotrans (ToM) for Transjakarta e-ticketing system.

Transjakarta seeks to improve the quality and customer experience

PT Transjakarta President Director, Welfizon Yuza stated Transjakarta as a public transportation company and business entity has two sides, namely public service and business entity.

According to him, the benefits generated would be reinvested in service improvements. He assessed, this collaboration is a commitment from Transjakarta and Telkomsel to implement Triple S (Service, Sustainability and Strategic Partnership).

"Through innovation and strategic partnerships, Transjakarta seeks to improve the quality and customer experience, while building a modern, integrated and sustainable transportation ecosystem for society and the environment," he expressed, Thursday (12/19).

Telkomsel's Vice President for Enterprise Product Enablement and Solution, Hanang Setiohargo, explained this collaboration is the most strategic collaboration conducted considering both companies have the same focus, namely customers.

"Collaboration like this is expected to continue to improve the quality of services, social enterprise and create significant added value for the community, as well as an effort to support Jakarta in becoming a global city in the future," he explained.

As for the information, besides the location being close to Telkomsel's head office, the selection of Widya Chandra Bus Stop is also based on the strategic location of the bus stop because it serves several routes, namely Corridor 9 (Pluit - Pinang Ranti), Cililitan - Grogol (9A), Pinang Ranti - Bundaran Senayan (9C), Ragunan - City Hall via Semanggi (6B) and Manggarai - Blok M (6M).

The mobility of people at this bus stop is quite high, serving almost 5,000 customers every day.

As for the information, the Widya Chandra Telkomsel Transjakarta Bus Stop is the third naming rights that Transjakarta has established, after the two previous naming rights, namely Bundaran HI Astra Bus Stop and Senayan Bank DKI Bus Stop.
