Ancol Involves 30 Street Vendors as Its Area Arrangement

Corporate Communication PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, Ariyadi Eko Nugroho said the trial is run as commitment to increase street vendor's welfare.

"The trial is run at Beach Pool. The unintegrated vendors are directed to run their activity outside the trial area such as Lagoon Beach and so on," he said, Friday (12/27).
Based on the data in October, there are 253 vendors usually operate at Ancol Taman Impian. His side gives facilities for integrated vendors such as uniform, cart, and goods to be sold for free.
Ancol management, he added will not take any profit from the vendors. The arrangement aims to increase street vendors welfare and Ancol's comfort and orderliness.
Eko explained that the unintegrated vendors are atill able to run their activity except at Beach Pool area. They are directed to Pantai Indah, Festival, Danau Monumen and others in the east side.
Eko hopes the unintegrated street vendors will understand the policy and want to join the integration program. He admitted that they are still have chance to join.
"We're optimistic this arrangement will give maximum benefit for street vendors and visitors," he stated.
