10 Yellow Tabebuia Trees Planted at Cilangkap Cemetery

As many as 10 yellow tabebuia trees were planted at Cilangkap Cemetery, Cipayung, East Jakarta, Friday (12/27). The activity was run during Friday Planting program.

East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Dwi Ponangsera, said the activity involved 30 personnel of civil servants, PJLP and 10 sub-districts of City Park and Forestry Implementer Unit and Cemetery Taskforce.

According to her, the new 3,000 meter square land is able to accommodate 900 cemeteries. It is able to fulfill the society needs.
"50 yellow tabebuia trees to be planted here, now we're planting 10 trees," he said.
Meanwhile, East Jakarta City Park and Forestry's Green Lane and Cemetery Section Head, Made Widhi Adnyana Surya Pratita admitted the planting aims to greening the area.
"The area needs to be beautified and that is why we planted yellow tabebuia here," he admitted.
