Jakarta City Council's Commission B Member, Nur Afni said the free nutritional meal program not only gives benefit for students, but also a business chance for Micro, Small, Medium Enterprise (MSME) to develop the business.

Nur Afni emphasized the importance of the capital availability for MSMEs and the readiness of BUMD in providing quality food ingredients. It aims to ensure the sustainability of MSMEs as suppliers of raw materials for the program.
"As the capital readiness, there must be capital loans assistance from Bank DKI . It is because free nutritious meal is paid monthly," she said, Thursday (1/9).
Free Nutritious Food at Tunas Harapan Pulogebang Integrated Health Post EnjoyedShe believes that related BUMDs also have capacity to fulfill the need of large scale quality food especially for free nutritious meal program.
"Our BUMDs namely Food Station, Dharmajaya, Pasar Jaya are ready to prepare the meal stock," she added.
She continues that Commission B will request related BUMDs to ensure the program preparation including food quality supervising and MSME coaching.
As for information, there were four Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG)s to distribute free nutritious meal for 12,054 students. Those four SPPGs are SPPG Halim, Susukan Ciracas, Palmerah, and SPPG Pulogebang Cakung.
This program is to support optimal growth and development, improve learning concentration, and student health at various levels of education.
