Central Jakarta Administration Plants 27 Tabebuia Trees on Jalan Senen Raya

Central Jakarta Administration planted 27 pink tabebuia trees along Jalan Senen Raya, Pasar Baru Urban Village, Friday (1/10).

The area will also be more beautiful with the flower

Central Jakarta Mayor, Arifin said the trees will make the sidewalk more shady and beautiful.

Central Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Mila Ananda, explained pink tabebuia tree is match with the area's theme. Every tree planting in various road will be adjusted according to its geographic and history.

Not only to beautify the area, Mila added, the tree is also functioned as sidewalk barrier. It means the pedestrian will be more safety and secure.

"We also plan to plant another 23 tabebuia trees across the road. Hopefully the area can be used as alternative spot for exercising ," she hoped.
