Plenary Meeting to Determine the Elected Governor-Vice Governor will Be Held Tomorrow

Jakarta City Council's Deliberative Board (Bamus) will hold Plenary Meeting on the Determination of Elected Governor and Deputy Governor for 2024-2029 period on Tuesday (1/14).

"The results of the determination of the elected governor and deputy governor will be announced tomorrow at the Plenary Meeting at 10:00," 

Jakarta City Council Vice Chairperson, Rany Mauliani said, the plenary meeting would be held in conjunction with the closing and opening of the session period.

Jakarta KPU Sets Elected Governor and Vice Governor

"The results of the determination of the elected governor and deputy governor will be announced tomorrow at the Plenary Meeting at 10:00," she mentioned, at the Jakarta City Council building, Monday (1/13).

According to her, the Plenary Meeting schedule was based on suggestions and input from leaders and members of Bamus as well as input from the Executive.

She hopes that the elected governor and deputy governor will be ready to work together with all stakeholders, including Jakarta City Council. 

"Hopefully everything can be better in the future, especially programs that are really needed and very beneficial for the people of Jakarta," she stated.

For information, Jakarta City Council has received the results of the plenary meeting on the determination of the elected pair of Jakarta Governor-Vice Governor in 2024 from the Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU).

Moreover, Jakarta KPU has also submitted files on the proposal, ratification, and appointment of the elected governor and vice governor, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno to Jakarta City Council.

After received by Jakarta City Council, the files were forwarded to Minister of Home Affairs to be submitted to Indonesian President, Prabowo Subianto.
