Ancol Taman Impian management prepares several entertainments for visitors as it packed in 'Ancol Lunar Festival 2025' from January 25-29 to welcome the Chinese New Year.

Corporate Communication PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, Ariyadi Eko Nugroho said the Chinese New Year becomes a special moment for Chinese communities throughout the world, including Jakarta.

"To celebrate this cultural diversity, Ancol Taman Impian as the major tourist destination presents various attractions and lively celebrations," he said, Wednesday (1/15).

Eko explained that Ancol Beach is the first destination to present a special Chinese New Year nuance especially in the Lagoon Beach.

The beach is transformed into a colorful party with special Chinese New Year decorations. There will be also a Table Barongsai and Liong to be performed at Plaza Lagoon, Symphony of The Sea.

Eko added that a live music performance will also entertain the visitors on the beach. Visitors may also able to join the Tebar Angpao that will take place after the barongsai performance.

"Dufan Ancol as the iconic entertainment park will also present the Chinese New Year atmosphere," he added.

Dunia Fantasi (Dufan) to present a colossal show packaged in the Kungfu Show theme on the Indoor Ice Age Stage. The Special Chinese New Year Grand Parade featuring Barongsai Tonggak and Liong will also enliven the area.

"Bian Lian Show will amaze the visitors with its charming fan dance attraction. So do not miss it. After that, please join the Tebar Angpao activity with Ancol's newest robot, Flippy, in the afternoon," he explained.

At the Sea World, Ancol also presents a barongsai entertainment. The attraction will be performed in the main aquarium that has a depth of up to six meters and in the middle of thousands of fish. Then the cute Sea World character, Sharky, that will be accompanied by one of Ancol's robots, Twirly, are ready to interact with visitors during the meet and greet session.

"The lucky visitors will get red envelope (angpao) at the Feeding Show at the Main Aquarium to add the excitement and joy," he continued.

According to him, Samudra Ancol will perform Naga collaborates with Putri Duyung in the Underwater Theater. There will be a barongsai performance in Dolphin Adventures. Cute sea lions are ready interact with the visitors also.

Do not forget to visit Jakarta Bird Land Ancol that will perform smart birds with iconic Chinese ornaments. The Mandarin Ducks, known as a symbol of love, will also be there.
