According to her, the cervical cancer death case in Jakarta by 2024 reached 250 or 1.2 percent out of total for women's death. Therefore, the agency also targets 46,627 elementary students this year.
"I believe we can make this program a succes to ensure every schoolgirl gets her right related to cervical cancer protection" she continued.
Dwi appeals all family, school, and resident to actively participate in spreading the information, implementing, and supporting the program.
She stated that good public health will create productive, innovative, and creative generation. It surely supports the Jakarta's development as a global city.
Meanwhile, Acting South Jakarta Mayor, Ali Murthado admitted there are 6,611 junior high school schoolgirls have not received the HPV vaccine.
"Today's immunization is held for 1,300 schoolgirls in South Jakarta. We will involve PKK and other cadres to support this program as early prevention effort," he admitted.
