19,324 Vehicles Sanctioned in East Jakarta with Various Violations

During its Operation Lintas Jaya in 2024, the East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency recorded and took action against 19,324 vehicles with various violations.

This operation keeps being intensified

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency's Operation Section Head, Riki Erwinda explained that out of the 19,324 miscreant vehicles received ticketing sanction.

They were tickted after parking at a prohibited sign, their load exceeds the regulations, violating the route, parking illegally, etc.

76 Vehicles Netted During Lintas Jaya Operation in East Jakarta

The remaining 1,232 vehicles received a stop operation, 3,436 vehicles were given a police dossier, 2,218 motorbikes were flattened, 311 three-wheeled vehicles were flattened, 124 cars were flattened, and 5,796 motorbikes were ticketed due to contra flow.

Then 3,552 vehicles were towed and 61 motorbikes were netted.

"This operation keeps being intensified as traffic violations are still rampant," he expressed, Wednesday (1/22).

He added it involved 35 personnel assisted by traffic unit, Garnisun, and POM TNI.

"Hopefully, it can give them a detterent effect," he asserted.
