Transjakarta Route Shortened During Jakarta 10K's Run

The Jakarta International 10K competition, tommorow Sunday (5/30) affected Transjakarta route in 5 corridors to be adjusted. It will be done since road closure is applied when the event take place for the sake of participants security.

The bus operational in five corridors will be adjusted due to road closure along the 10K's roads,

The Director of PT Transjakarta, Antonius Steve Kosasih acknowledged there are five corridors service that will be adjusted or shortened.

"The bus operational in five corridors will be adjusted due to road closure along the 10K's roads," he told, Saturday (5/30).

Those five shortened corridors are : Corridor 1  (Monas-Kota-Monas), Corridor 2 (Pulo gadung-Pecenongan), Corridor 3 (Kalideres-Grogol), Corridors 8 (Lebak Bulus-Grogol), Corridor 7 (PGC-Pecenongan).

"We hoped passengers could adjust their travel time in accordance with the proposed operational time," he uttered.

According to Kosasih the operational is slated at 5 AM -10 AM. After the designated time is ended, operational in 

all corridors back to normal.

"After 10 AM, the operational back to normal and passengers could use the service as ussual," he said.

As we know, Jakarta International 10K competition is slated to be held tommorow with running track as follows Southwest Monas, Jalan Budi Kemuliaan, Jalan Abdul Muis, Jalan Gajah Mada and return to Monas through Jalan Hayam Wuruk, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat.
