Seribu Islands PPKUKM Prepares Rp 600 M Budget for Loksem on Kelapa Island

The Seribu Islands Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) is set to build a temporary location (Loksem) on Kelapa Island, RT 07/04, Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands Sub-district.

This work will spend a fund by Rp 600 million

Seribu Islands PPKUKM Sub-agency Head, Bangun Richard said the development of Loksem is a community proposal through Musrenbang 2024.

"Together with the regional apparatus organizations (OPD), we have conducted surveys and measurements. The land is located right next to the Nyiur Melambai RPTRA, Kelapa Island," he expressed, Thursday (1/30).

He explained Loksem will have 15 kiosks completed with toilets. Each kiosk is 2.5 meters long and three meters wide.

"This work will spend a fund by Rp 600 million and will start in June 2025," he explained.

According to him, this was to further facilitate the coached MSMEs on Kelapa Island and tourists.

"We want the Kelapa Island area to be a more organized tourist destination," he explained.

He hoped that the Loksem could improve the local economy.

"This is a good step, hopefully this Loksem will be beneficial for MSMEs and can also support family economy," he hoped.
