Seribu Utara Sub-district Fire Handling and Rescue Sector VII held socialization of fire prevention for residents on two islands in Kelapa Island Urban Village.

Seribu Utara Sub-district Fire Handling and Rescue Sector VII Head, Yuli Sahroni admitted routine socialization aims to give education for resident related fire handling and prevention.
"Socialization is held every day on each island. We'll keep reminding resident about this," he said, Tuesday (2/4).

"Hopefully this effort will prevent bigger both material and fatality loss," he added.
Kelapa Island Urban Village Head, Muslim admitted the socialization was attended by residents from Kelapa Island and Kelapa Dua Island.
"This socialization is part of prevention in reducing fire risk," he admitted.
Muslim added that fire incident is mostly caused by negligence in the use of electricity and gas stoves. For this reason, residents must aware with the electricity installation and do not leave stove unattended.
"Please avoid using many electrical plugs in one spot and unplug the gas tube regulator before traveling away from home," he added.
