Electrical Short Causes Fire in Cilandak Timur

An electrical short caused a fire on six rent-houses on Jalan Ampera Raya, Block B, RT 02/06, Cilandak Timur Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-district, South Jakarta.

South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Syamsul Huda admitted his side received the incident report at 11:13 AM.

Huda added the fire that burned the rent-house by 150 square meter width occuppied by eight families or 26 people was fully extinguished at 2 PM.
"There is no victim caused by the incident. The wounded occupants were directly handled by local health personnel," he added.
Meanwhile, one of local residents, Wahyu Santo (45) explained the fire firstly came from the second floor.
The fire grew up quickly and made the local's effort resultless.
"We appreciate the quick handling by the sub-agency to avoid the fire burn another house," he stated.
