PT MRT Jakarta's Corporate Secretary Division Head, Ahmad Pratomo, stated the facility is part of the social responsibility program of PT Perusahaan Air Minum Lyonnaise Jaya (Palyja) in collaboration with the Jakarta Government since 2019.

According to him, this facility had been installed at several strategic points in the city of Jakarta, and one of the locations is near the MRT Jakarta Station.

"Currently, MRT Jakarta has coordinated with Palyja in handling the drinking water tap facilities," he expressed, Tuesday (2/4).

He urged the public to maintain public facilities and spaces and to use those facilities following their intended purposes.

As information, the presence of water stations is a place to refill drinking water, in order to reduce the use of single-use plastic bottles and to maintain environmental cleanliness.
