East Jakarta to Hold Free Medical Check-Up

Ahead of Jakarta's 488th Anniversary, the East Jakarta Administration is going to open free medical check-up as an effort to increase public health quality.

"At this moment, the schedule is being set up, including time and its location," said Head of East Jakarta Sub-Department, Iwan Kurniawan,Tuesday (6/2).

Since last Sunday (5/31), Kurniawan stated, the service has been ongoing in Pinus Elok Flat, Cakung. "Similar service would also be held in other placecs in East Jakarta," he expressed.

N. Jakarta to Open Free Medical Check-Up

As planned, such service would be held in desenly populated areas by deploying paramedics from local sub-districts and urban villages' community health centers (puskesmas).

"The service place is still scheduled with paramedic readiness and its time must also be set up well thus our servuce could right on target," he uttered.

He furthered all this time, the paramedics spend more time to serve people using jemput bola system "officers to take the initiative to visit residents".

"They spend 70% of time in the field, that is by checking health and socializing healthy life pattern to locals," he disclosed.
