Sidewalk Construction on Jalan Taman Wijaya Kusuma Completed

The Yellow Taskforce personnel of Cilandak Sub-district's Bina Marga Implementer Unit, South Jakarta has completed the sidewalk construction on Jalan Taman Wijaya Kusuma, Pondok Labu Urban Village.

There was no sidewalk in the location previously

Cilandak Sub-district's Bina Marga Implementer Unit Head, Nelson, said the sidewalk construction is part of agency's commitment in creating friendly city for pedestrian.

"There was no sidewalk in the location previously. The construction is also part of resident's aspiration," he said, Thursday (2/6).

Nelson explained the sidewalk construction along 19 meter and 2 meter of width involved seven personnel.

"The construction started in January 2025. Now it can be used fully," he added.

He hopes the sidewalk will increase safety, comfort and convenience for pedestrian, as well as make the surrounding area more beauty.

Meanwhile, one of local residents, Jamal (46) thanked he sidewalk construction in the area. Now his area is more safety for pedestrian.

"The construction was fast and good," he admitted.
