Teguh Visits 3-Kg LPG Station in Kramat Jati

Jakarta Acting Governor, Teguh Setyabudi, and his staffs visited a subsidized liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) station on Jalan Bhakti, RT 05/09, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, on Friday (2/7).

"...and ask regional apparatus to go to the field to ensure stock availability,"

This visit was carried out to see firsthand the availability of 3-kg LPG stock, distribution, and price stability.

The visit was also attended by Jakarta Secretary Assistant for Economy and Finance (Asperkeu), Suharini Eliawati; Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy (Nakertransgi) Agency Head, Hari Nugroho; Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency Head, Ratu Elisabeth Rante Allo; and East Jakarta Acting Mayor, Iin Mutmainnah.

Subsidized LPG Stocks on Seribu Island Remain Safe

Teguh stated that his side has instructed the ranks in the five municipalities and Thousand Islands Regency to always check the availability of subsidized LPG in the market.

"There was a queue for subsidized LPG a few days ago due to panic buying in the public who bought quite a lot compared to actual needs so that the stocks at the station were decreased," he conveyed.

He explained that the Jakarta Provincial Government has requested quota for 3-kg LPG in 2025 based on data from last year's usage to the Directorate General of Oil and Gas (Migas).

Based on Gubernatorial Regulation No. 4/2025, the highest retail price (HET) of subsidized LPG which is sold in five municipalities is set at Rp 16,000 per cylinder and in Thousand Islands is Rp 18,500-Rp 19,500 per cylinder.

"In Kramat Jati, the gas is sold according to HET. But, we also monitor that subsidized LPG is sold around Rp 16,000-Rp 19,000 per cylinder in several regions and ask regional apparatus to go to the field to ensure stock availability," he mentioned.

Jakarta Askesra Acting Head, Suharini Eliawati added, her side will re-discuss with the central government about the quota of subsidized LPG cylinder for Jakarta residents, as well as the proposed HET that applies in Jakarta which is lower than its surrounding areas.

"Alhamdulilah, when monitoring at the station, there is an information board that says it is sold at Rp 16,000 per cylinder. We also appeal to Jakartans not to do panic buying and Insya Allah, the stock will be sufficient," she expressed.

Jakarta Nakertransgi Agency Head, Hari Nugroho mentioned, his party has submitted a memorandum to the Director General of Oil and Gas to improve the reduced quota by around five percent.

"The reduced five percent quota is around 433 metric tons," he informed.
