50 Residents Enjoy Free Health Checks at Kramatjati Health Center

Some 50 residents of various ages registered for the two-day free health check program at the Kramatjati Sub-district Health Center in East Jakarta. This program is given as a birthday gift to the nation for all residents every day in turn.

Kramatjati Sub-district Health Center Head, Inda Mutiara explained that on the first day, Monday (2/10), 27 residents registered, but four of them were absent, consisting of three elderly, 16 adults, and four pregnant women.

Then on the second day, Tuesday (2/11), 23 residents registered, but six were absent. The 17 others who were present consisted of five elderly, eight adults, and four pregnant women.

According to her, this service has already been partially held by the health center in the form of health screening programs for the community following their age groups. However, now, the type of services in the package was more complete.

"This program is very good and its benefits are even greater for the community. The type of screening is more comprehensive for ages 0 to elderly. We even target schools with participants from ages seven to 17," she expressed, Wednesday (2/12).

Even, she provided stickers to free health check patients to differentiate them from general patients.

Especially for adults and the elderly, the services were on the second floor of the main building and the ground floor specifically for Cervical Cancer screening (HPV - DNA test).

Then toddlers and preschoolers, as well as pregnant women, services were available at the Mutiara Cinta Pavilion or the Healthy Cluster 2 Pavilion. For newborns aged 0 - 2 days, services were in the delivery room on the ground floor.

"Every day, we provide a quota for 30 patients," she concluded.
