He also reminded the society to routinely draining, brushing and tightly closing (3M) water container in their house.

"Epidemiology investigation must be run of there is a resident got dengue fever. Then fumigation must be applied if the result is positive," he said, Thursday (2/13).

During January to February 2025, he added, there were 141 dengue fever cases in East Jakarta spread in 10 sub-districts.

Of the 141 cases, the highest was in Kramat Jati Sub-district by 27 cases, Ciracas 19 cases, Pasar Rebo 19 cases, Cipayung 17 cases, Matraman 15 cases.

Then Pulogadung 14 cases, Jatinegara 11 cases, Duren Sawit eight cases, Makasar eight cases, and Cakung three cases.

In fact, he added, the cases were lower compared to other areas such as West Jakarta by 201 cases, South Jakarta 180 cases, North Jakarta and Seribu Island 126 cases, and Central Jakarta 81 cases.

"All the dengue fever patients were treated and recovered well, no patients have died in East Jakarta," he stated.
