Jakarta residents have the opportunity to learn more

This festival will take place from February 13 to 16, 2025, at Kota Kasablanka Mall , Menteng Dalam Urban Village, Tebet Sub-district, South Jakarta.

South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin said this festival is the result of a collaboration with Nonsan City, South Korea.

"Jakarta residents have the opportunity to learn more about the heritage and culture, as well as the superior agricultural products of Nonsan City, namely Nonsan strawberries," he expressed, Thursday (2/13) evening.

He explained this is also an opportunity to promote Jakarta's unique products in the fields of culinary, fashion, handicrafts, and even martial arts performances that reflect the diversity and richness of culture.

In the next 20 years, he added, Jakarta has a grand vision to become one of the Top 20 Global Cities. Hence, this festival is expected to inspire the improvement of quality and promotion of SME products, the creative economy, and Betawi cultural heritage to further strengthen Jakarta's identity and values on the world stage.

"My appreciation goes to all parties who have contributed to the Nonsan Strawberry Festival 2025 in Jakarta. May this strengthen the relationship between Jakarta and Nonsan, creating new cooperation opportunities to advance the leading products of both cities," he explained.

Nonsan City Mayor, South Chungcheong Province, South Jakarta, Abaek Seong Hyeon uttered the festival would promote various agricultural products, with a highlight being the Nonsan strawberry that can be tasted by visitors from all over the world who come to Jakarta.

"We'll introduce our superior agricultural product to the whole world and take a further step towards the Strawberry Festival 2027," he explained.

As information, at the opening of the Nonsan Strawberry Festival, there will be City Secretary's Regional Cooperation Bureau Head, Marulina Dewi; Tebet Sub-district Head, Dyan Airlangga; and Menteng Dalam Urban Village Head, Dina Roslina.

Then also from Nonsan City officials, namely Nonsan City Mayor, Baek Seony Hyeon; Nonsan City Council Chairman, Jo Young Hun; Representative from South Korean Embassy to Indonesia, Park Soo Deok.
