Teguh assessed that Indonesia's cultural heritage preservation is also brought to House of Tugu. It is added with Peranakan (Chinese) traditions that have developed for centuries to the Indonesia fashion industry treasury.
"That is why Jakarta Provincial Government appreciates the Indonesia designers and all sides who have participated and represented the spirit and creativity in presenting the best work that has been recognized on the international stage," Teguh added.
Teguh hopes that the Chinese New Year Fashion Exhibition can support the fashion industry progress in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta. This can also strengthen Jakarta's position as an inclusive, cultured and competitive global city.
"With the spirit of unity and hope to continue in preserving the richness of Indonesia culture in Jakarta, let's celebrate this moment together. Hopefully the fashion industry in Jakarta will continue to grow and be able to compete in international stage," Teguh stated.
