One of Pramono's programs that he appreciated was the development of mass transportation that not only serves residents in Jakarta, but also Jabodetabek. The program is also align with the mandate of Law (UU) No. 2/2024 on Special Region of Jakarta.
Ade also appreciated governor's plan to reduce the minimum educational qualifications for Public Infrastructure and Facility Handling (PPSU) personnel from high school to elementary school. According to him, Jakarta Governor wants to emphasize the state's presence for the lower community through this policy.
"In my opinion, with the governor saying things like lowering the qualifications, it seems that he wants to say that the state is present for the lower class. This (policy) also solves basic problems related to employment issues," he mentioned.
He hopes the new leader of Jakarta can be consistent in carrying out their campaign promises. He also invites all Jakarta DPRD members to collaborate with Jakarta Governor Pramono in developing Jakarta.
"Our expectations are very high, so as the community. Hopefully he will be consistent in his promises, we will definitely support him and we are ready to collaborate," he asserted.
Other legislator from Commission E, Yudha Permana also warmly welcomed the speech of Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung, especially programs related to education and culture. He stated his full support for the programs that will be carried out by Jakarta Government to improve the life quality of Jakartans.
He cited one of Pramono's commitments to return the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) to beneficiaries who had previously canceled in the second phase.
"105,000 parents who were rejected in the second stage, have been re-registered and they have been informed by the governor that they will receive the benefits again. This means, Insya Allah, almost 100 percent will be re-approved," he added.
Meanwhile, he also highlighted the importance of developing Betawi culture as Jakarta's icon. He hopes that under Governor Pramono leadership, Betawi cultural arts activities will be held more often and the welfare of the artists will be also considered.
"Hopefully, with the new governor, there will be more art activities in Jakarta as the city needs a cultural icon. Jakarta lacks one," he said.
Furthermore, he also suggested allocating Jakarta City Budget (APBD) to build kitchen in schools, supporting the central government's free nutritious food program.
"We are trying to be more effective and efficient, one of them is by building kitchen in school. Thus the food will be more nutritious, better in quality," he uttered.
He emphasized that Jakarta DPRD is ready to support programs that benefit the community. He also expects that the executives can work professionally and transparent, especially in budget management.
