Jakarta City Council Commission B member, Ismail said this regular program is effective to assist residents to reach their hometown.

"We support this regular program and suggest to add the fleets, not only be based on city budget but also CSR from various companies," Ismail said, Friday (2/21).
He also emphasized the importance of innovation in providing free homecoming, especially in focusing on safety and comfort, not only for passengers but also for drivers.
Ismail also reminded about the ramp check and adequate rest area preparation. Unexpected congestion, even to toll roads usually trigerred by rest areas that do not meet the capacity.
"Previously, we faced the condition like that. It must be anticipated," he added.
According to him, Jakarta Provincial Government should add the number of fleet since the resident's enthusiasm remains high.
"The number of fleets must be added up to accommodate the residents," he stated.
As for information, Jakarta Provincial Government through Jakarta Transportation provides Free Homecoming 2025. Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo said 293 fleets are prepared to transport 22,400 residents living in Jakarta to their hometown during the Eid ul Fitr 2025.
