60 RPTRAs will Be Built This Year

As many as 60 Child-Friendly Public Spaces (RPTRA) will be built in Jakarta throughout 2015. It aims to realize public space needs for citizen and the Green Open Space (RTH) target.

"RPTRA needs to be propagated. Because, it's multifunction where it can be used by adult and children. Thus they do not need to rent a place and can save money," said Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama, when he inaugurated the RPTRA in Kembangan Utara Urban Village, Kembangan, West Jakarta, Friday (6/5).
So far, of the 60 RPTRAs, 54 out of them can already be built. It is hoped all could be completed by the end of this year.

To realize 150 RPTRAs construction, he admitted, the government's assets powered by community organization, etc, will be taken over.
"Citizens and Regional Working Unit (SKPD) are appealed to maintain those RPTRAs," closed Ahok.
