The Blue Taskforce personnel of Kelapa Gading Sub-district Water Resource, North Jakarta is constructing dike of Gading Kirana connecting channel on Jalan Gading Kirana Utara, RW 01, Kelapa Gading Barat Urban Village.

Kelapa Gading Sub-district's Water Resource Implementer Unit Head, Jhoni Sariyanto Situmorang, explained the dike construction is run based on resident's aspiration to prevent inundation.
Pramono Ensures Optimal Handling as Flood Recedes"Dike is important to prevent water channel overflowing, especially when heavy rain," he said, Monday (3/3).
Jhoni added the construction is run along 6.5 meters with three meters height and 50 cm width.
"The construction has been running since February 12 and is targeted to complete in end of March. 10 personnel are deployed everyday," he added.
Meanwhile, one of local residents, Syarif Hidayatullah (37), thanked the Kelapa Gading Water Resource Implementer Unit for constructing the dike.
"Hopefully there will be no more inundation especially during heavy rain," he hoped.
