The construction of a 500-meter drainage channel on Jalan Pelita, Tengah Urban Village, Kramat Jati Sub-district, will be realized this year.

This proposal will be brought to the city-level Musrenbang

East Jakarta City Secretariat Government Assistant, Eka Darmawan stated, this proposal should be a priority that must be realized this year. It was because the existing channel conditions were very inadequate and prone to flooding in the rainy season.

"This proposal will be brought to the city-level Musrenbang . We will implement it in the near future because the situation is urgent. We also ask the Water Resources Sub-agency to realize it as it has been proposed for a long time but has yet to be realized," he explained, when he led the Musrenbang yesterday.

According to him, the Musrenbang attended by urban village heads, RW administrators, LMK, and related technical units presented 267 proposals.

Of 287 proposals, 79 were from the SDA Sub-agency; 38 were from the Youth and Sports Sub-agency; three were from the Transportation Sub-agency; 23 were from the Culture Sub-agency; 17 were from the Education Sub-agency; six were from the Social Sub-agency; and one was from the Library Sub-agency.

Kramat Jati Sub-district Vice Head, Diman added there were 71 proposals and 176 were accommodated in 2026. Then, 20 proposals had yet to be accommodated.

He assessed the proposals were dominated by physical activities, especially infrastructure improvements, from local road repairs to the restoration of damaged channels.

"Hope the damaged infrastructure will be repaired this year, especially regarding the damaged channels and roads," he hoped.
