E. Jakarta Social Sub-agency Distributes 6,750 Food Boxes

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency has distributed 6,750 food boxes and mineral water for flood and fire survivors since dawn for their sahur meals.

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency's Head of Social Rehabilitation Guarantee Protection Section, Deni Triyanto said the food and mineral water boxes were distributed for survivors in six urban villages, and fire survivors in Pondok Bambu Urban Village.

"Hopefully this assistance can lighten their burden," he said, Wednesday (3/5).

Deni explained the assistances distributed for Cipinang Muara Urban Village were 400 boxes, Cililitan 1,000 boxes, Kampung Melayu 600 boxes, and Bidara Cina Urban Village 2,500 boxes.

"There were also for residents in Cawang Urban Village by 750 boxes, Cipinang Cempedak 25 boxes, Bale Kambang 1,000 boxes, and Pondok Bambu Urban Village 150 boxes," he explained.

According to him, thousands of food package were prepared at public kitchen of East Jakarta Social Sub-agency Office, Jalan Haji Naman, Pondok Kelapa Urban Village.

"The number of food package is based on urban village request through valid data. We'll remain supply the assistance as it is still needed," he stated.
