"We will also be dredging the mud here. We will start the repairs tomorrow and is targeted to be completed within a week," he explained.
Cilandak Sub-district Head, Djaharuddin added flooding had occurred in the local residential area in the morning, about 50 centimeters high.
In cleaning the flooded houses, he deployed 50 joint personnel to the location, consisting of PPSU, SDA Sub-agency, and South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency.
"In accordance with the leadership's direction, we will work together as soon as possible to overcome the flooding that has occurred here. Moreover, currently Jakarta is being hit by extreme weather and water from upstream," he said.
