Post-flood Mud and Garbage in Bidara Cina Cleaned

Joint personnel cleaned post-flood mud and garbage of residential at RW 07 and RW 11, Bidara Cina Urban Village, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta.

90 personnel are involved

Bidara Cina Urban Village Secretary, Heidy Amelia Rangkuti said the cleaning was conducted today since the inundated recedes.

"The cleaning is focused at RT 12 and 15, RW 07. Then the cleaning at RW 11 is focused on garbage due to inundation remains exist," she said, Friday (3/7).

Heidy explained 20 PPSU personnel joined the existing team of regional working units in East Jakarta.

"Totally 90 personnel are involved including Army/Police," she added.

Meanwhile, Jatinegara District's Environmental Implementer Unit Head, Salam said the today's communal work is the third day activity after the flood in Bidara Cina Urban Village.

"We try our best to clean the area. Hopefully it can be completed today," he said.

According to him, 20 personnel of Jatinegara District's Environmental Implementer Unit and four dump trucks were deployed today.

"Hopefully there will be no flood from the upstream area for the sake of residents' safety and comfort," he hoped.
