Satpol PP Assists Flood-affected Residents in Joint Cleanup

Jakarta Municipal Police Unit (Satpol PP) joined forces with the government, TNI, Police, and residents to conduct a post-flood cleanup in areas affected by flooding due to the overflowing Ciliwung River.

"T he piles of garbage and mud left after flood have been cleaned up,"

The joint personnel quickly assisted residents in cleaning up their houses and environment from the remaining mud and garbage after the flood hit.

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Satriadi Gunawan conveyed, this effort aimed to speed up cleaning and environmental recovery for the comfort of flood-affected residents.

"Thanks to the joint cooperation with various parties, the piles of garbage and mud left after flood have been cleaned up. We want to restore the environment and make it more comfortable and healthy for residents," he expressed, Friday (3/7).

He urged the residents to stay alert to the potential for flooding. They were also asked to coordinate with local government to be aware of subsequent floods.

"We also continue to monitor, coordinate and remind residents to stay alert. If necessary, evacuate to a safer place to prevent casualties from flooding," he asserted.
