Pramono Attends DPRD Plenary Meeting Regarding Recess Results Report

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung attended the Jakarta City Council Plenary Meeting about submission of the results of the 2nd recess of the 2nd session period of the 2024-2025 session year of the leadership and members of the Jakarta City Council for the 2025 budget year, Wednesday (3/12).

After attending the meeting, Pramono gave his response about the report on the results of the recess of the leaders and members of the Jakarta City Council. One of them is related to the request for an increase in Operational Allowance funds for mosque caretakers, jumantik and dasawisma.

Pramono said the increase in the Operational Allowance fund must be studied first. The study will be carried out regarding the budget to be used.

"I want to improve their welfare , but it must be studied the budget to be used for this program," Pramono said.

Jakarta City Council Commission C Member, Brando Susanto stated some of the delivered recess results were the council's request to the relevant agencies to increase the Operational Allowance funds for mosque caretakers, jumantik and dasawisma.

"The support is provided to strengthen their role at RT/RW, PKK, PKH, and FKDM to be optimally supporting social and community welfare program," Brando stated.

The Council also encourages increased programs to support the fulfillment of nutrition for pregnant mothers, toddlers and women. This effort aims to improve overall public health, prevent malnutrition, and ensure child growth and development.

Brando hopes the health quality of Jakarta residents, especially vulnerable people, can be better maintained with this support.

Moreover, the Council also requested the Executive to make improvements and development of educational facilities as well as the construction of school fences, classrooms improvement, laboratory facilities improvement, libraries, and provision of more modern learning facilities.

"It is expected to create a safer, more comfortable learning environment and support students' academic development and creativity," he hoped.

Related to the resolution of the student graduation certificate that is held up in schools due to administrative or financial constraints, the Council asked the related agencies to find a fair and just solution. This problem can have an impact on students who want to continue their education or get a job.
