South Jakarta Mayor Leads PSN Activity in Kebayoran Lama Utara

South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin led the Mosquito Nest Eradication activity at RW 09, Kebayoran Lama Utara, Kebayoran Lama.

Munjirin held the activity with his ranks in Kebayoran Lama Utara since the area has the most dengue fever case in South Jakarta.

"I appeal all ranks of city, district, urban village, and up to cadre to monitor the mosquito larva in this area," he said, Friday (3/14).

He added that the activity should not routinely be run by Jumantik cadre, but all society elements must be involved. Because the cleanliness of the environment or house is primarily the responsibility of the owner.

Munjirin also appealed all related units together with environmental cadres to work hard in cutting the dengue fever case that is always bigger in April.

"I request the Jumantik cadre to check two or three times a week. But the owner must check it everyday," he added.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Yudi Dimyati said dengue fever case in her area sits on second place with 303 cases from January to March 2025.

The highest dengue fever case is in Jagakarsa District by 51 cases and highest urban village is Kebayoran Lama Utara by 19 cases

"It becomes our concern. I ask all parties to cooperate well," she hoped.
