Jakarta PJLP to Receive Holiday Allowances Earlier Before Eid

The Jakarta Government has prepared appreciation funds as Holiday Allowance (THR) for contract workers of Individual Other Service Providers (PJLPs).

This statement was conveyed by Jakarta Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD) Head, Michael Rolandi Cesnanta Brata, at Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday (3/18).
"The holiday allowance is ready and can be withdrawn through the Budget Implementation Document (DPA) of each regional device. This is a form of the Jakarta Government's appreciation for the optimal service provided by PJLP colleagues for Jakarta people," he expressed.
Disbursement of Appreciation Fund for PJLP is Due by March 21This year's disbursement of the holiday allowance was faster and could be adjusted by each regional device. He assured, it would be provided before the joint leave for National Religious Holidays (HBKN).
"We entrust this allowance to each regional apparatus. Some PJLPs have already received it, and the disbursement will be done gradually by each regional apparatus. The disbursement can be done before the joint leave," he explained.
This disbursement was welcomed enthusiastically by Jakarta PJLPs. One of them was Ahmad Tholib, an officer of Public Infrastructure and Facilities Handling (PPSU) in Pegangsaan Urban Village, Central Jakarta. He was grateful that the allowance was given earlier, Monday (3/17).
"Thank you very much to the Governor and its partner who have taken care of us (PJLPs). Alhamdulillah (thank God), this allowance can be used to buy Eid supplies for children, purchase cooking necessities for the holiday, and give some to my nephews. Despite it's not much that I can give, at least my relatives can also feel the joy of Eid," he admitted.
On the other hand, East Jakarta SDA Agency Officer, Vicky Haikal, admitted he did not expect the allowances to be given earlier than the previous year. He stated, this served as motivation for the officers to work optimally in serving residents during Ramadan
"Thank you for the attention of the Governor and ita partners. It brings enthusiasm to work. Alhamdulillah, we can prepare for Eid, buy festive clothes, buy Eid cakes for our parents, and make ketupat and opor later," he said excitedly.
