East Jakarta PMI Provides Assistance to 2,000 Needy People

East Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross distributed assistances for 2,000 orphans and poor people.

Thanks to all parties involved

East Jakarta Secretary, Kusmanto appreciates the East Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross Bakti Ramadan activity by distributing assistances to needy people.

"Thanks to all parties involved in this activity," he said, Thursday (3/20).

Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross Chairman, Rustam Efendi said Indonesian Red Cross Bakti Ramadan is held routinely to give alms for society.

"Hopefully they can fulfil the needs of Ramadan and Eid with the assistances given. I advise the children to continue to be enthusiastic about learning and going to school," he hoped.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross Chairman stated this year activity theme is 'Merajut Silaturahmi Menebar Kebaikan Bersama'.

"The assistances given to need people from 10 districts in East Jakarta. The distribution will be run in stages from March 19 to 24, 2025," he stated.

The assistances given in form of staple food package and money.

"The assistances given by East Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross means from society to society. Hopefully they can enjoy Ramadan and Eid well," he stated.
