Smoking Raids in DPRD Get Full Support from Vice Governor

The ranks of Jakarta Satpol PP is scheduled to hold a smoking raid in the buildings of City Hall and City Council (DPRD). The raid that supported by Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat, intended to civil servants, officials and council members.

“Just do it, I support it, this must be done to keep everything orderly. As we know that there is already the regulation on smoking ban in City Hall and City Council Buildings,” said Djarot, at City Hall, Thursday (6/11).

He enclosed that the raid should be done gradually. Thereby, the government building can be sterile from the smokers.

“Do the raids, especially in City Council building,” he expressed while laughing a loud.

However, he asserted that its implementation should be kept confidential because he does not want the employees could anticipate it.

“Please keep secret this, I do not want anyone know,” he uttered.

Previously, Jakarta Satpol PP Vice Head, Jupan Royter acknowledged there was no tolerance for employees smoke in the office. It also applies to DPRD members and its head.

“We will stamp out the smokers in City Hall without any exception,” he added.
