Pramono Appeals Firefighters to Increase ReadinessWith the readiness of firefighters and security officers, he hopes that residents can travel for Eid peacefully and safely.
Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Agency Acting Head, Satriadi Gunawan mentioned that 170 fire posts in Jakarta will remain fully operational with no personnel taking leave.
"As the Governor said earlier, all 170 fire posts, none of them will be on leave. Everyone will be on call, ready," he conveyed.
Satriadi also urged residents to make sure their homes are safe before leaving for the holidays, such as by unplugging unused electrical appliances, notifying neighbors, and making sure gas stoves and regulators are securely turned off.
