Nevertheless, he still urged the Jakarta Government to anticipate the potential rise in population after the Idulfitri celebrations.
City Council Gears Up to Synergize for Jakarta People's Welfare"This leads to a chain effect on economic, health, education, and social issues. To solve this, the population must have fair regulations," he explained.
He ensured that all Indonesian citizens have the same right to come to Jakarta and must have an identity.
"Prepare the identity, thus no illegal residents. And Jakarta provides services to newcomers who have identity," he explained.
He also urged them to report to the local neighborhood association (RT) and community unit (RW) for data collection.
"If according to the sibling, the sibling must report. So, we can predict how much the needs will increase, the increase in food, health, education needs, and so on as the population grows. If there is no report, it will be increasingly difficult for us to predict and prepare," he closed.
