24-Hour Park Activation, City Government Finalizes the Plan

Jakarta Provincial Government remains finalizing the plan to activate the park at night. It is targeted that the plan to be realized during the celebration of Jakarta's 498 anniversary on June 22, 2025.

It was stated by Jakarta Vice Governor, Rano Karno, while attending the Lebaran di Jakarta event at Monas, Saturday (4/5).

"It could be launched during the anniversary. It is being finalized," he said.

Rano added that Jakarta has more than 500 parks. However, the night park activation is based on its size and location to ensure it will not disturb the residential areas.

According to him, there are 10 parks to operate until night. Six of them are operate for 24-hour, and the rests to operate up to 10 PM such as Eco Park Tebet since the location is near with residential.

"It is our effort to improve MSMEs," he added.

Preparations being run are installing the CCTV and area for MSMEs.

"MSMEs to join in this program will be charged a retribution fee according to the applicable regulation," he stated.
