14,485 Tourists Visit Seribu Islands

The Seribu Islands tourist destination is still an alternative for some people to spend the long Eid al-Fitr holiday and the public leave 2025.
This number is higher compared to last year's Eid
From Monday (3/31) to Wednesday (3/2), as many as 14,485 tourists have crossed from four piers to various tourist locations in Seribu Islands.
Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency (Parekraf) Head, Sonti Pangaribuan explained that on Monday (3/31), there were 2,565 tourists, followed by Tuesday (4/1) with 4,627 tourists, and on Wednesday (4/2) with 7,293 tourists.

According to her, most tourists visited the Seribu Islands from four entry points, namely Muara Angke Pier, Ancol Marina Pier, Tanjung Pasir Pier, and Cituis Pier.
"Most people usually cross to the island using a speedboat or a traditional boat," she explained.
The fare for traditional boats from Muara Angke Pier is around Rp 50,000 to Rp 80,000, or you can also use the Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) boats with fares ranging from Rp 44,000 to Rp 74,000.
Meanwhile, if visitors go through Marina Ancol Pier by speedboat, the fare ranges from Rp 175,000 to Rp 300,000. However, the journey is quicker compared to traditional boats.
She added those tourists were on vacation to visit destinations on the settlement island, cultural reserves, and resorts. Her agency offerred interesting options for tourists, both in terms of beaches, underwater life, flora and fauna, cuisine, and other beauty.
"The settlement island remains a favorite choice. To boost tourist visits, we'll keep expanding the promotion of destinations in Seribu Islands," she added.
Untung Jawa Island Urban Village Head, Sidartawan justified that tourists have started to arrive in large numbers since the first day of Eid. It has been recorded that 2,600 tourists have visited tourist destinations on Untung Jawa Island, South Seribu Islands.
"Most tourists come from the Tanjung Pasir port in Tangerang," he added.
During the holiday, tourists visited Arsa Beach, Sakura Beach, Japanese Village, Pengantin Bridge, and Mangrove Lagoon.
Then there were those who enjoy Water Sports like Banana Boat, Donut Boat, Kayaking or Pedal Boats and Snorkeling at Nemo Park.
To ensure the safety and comfort of tourists, the authorities have urged residents, shop owners, tourism operators, boat owners, and tourists to collectively maintain cleanliness and comfort.
