17,000 Local Tourists Flock to Ragunan Zoo Today

As many as 17,000 local tourists visited Ragunan Zoo, South Jakarta on the last day of Eid holiday, Monday (4/7).

The most visit was on Wednesday last week by 102,928 people

Ragunan Zoo Public Relation Head, Wahyudi Bambang, said of 17,000 visitors, 1,054 of them bought ticket via online and them remaining 15,946 were offline.

Local Tourists Remain Flock to Ragunan Zoo

Based on the data, there were 2,114 motorcycles, 951 cars, five buses and 55 bicycles.

"614 people visited the Schmutzer Primate Center and 239 people to the Children's Animal Park," he said.

Wahyu added that Ragunan Zoo remains open during the national holiday that falls o Monday.

"We ensure the animals here are healthy. They get the best food and vitamins," he added.

According to him, Ragunan Zoo has been visited by 455,000 people since D+1 up to D+6.

"The most visit was on Wednesday last week by 102,928 people," he continued.

One of the visitors, Adi Setyawan (39), admitted he went to Ragunan Zoo on the last day of holiday to avoid high visitor peak.

"Ticket price is affordable. It's the best place to educate our children about animals," he admitted.
