Commission E Member Supports City-BNN Cooperation

Jakarta City Council Commission E Member, Farah Savira supported the cooperation of Jakarta Provincial Government with National Narcotics Agency (BNN) in eradicating drugs circulation. The cooperation also discussed about making community health center as rehabilitation center.

"We appreciate this cooperation since almost every urban village and district has community health centers," she said, Tuesday (4/15).

Farah also supports the cooperation in eradicating drugs circulation. She assessed that BNN has effective rehabilitation program for drug users.

"We must also prepare the medical personnel. Not only program, expert medical personnel who have higher intellectual emotions and sensitive to drug users must also be prepared," she added.

Moreover, Farah also appealed Jakarta Provincial Government to monitor post-rehabilitation drug users to avoid them consuming drugs again.

Farah encouraged residents who had undergone rehabilitation to be given training or job in ensuring their better future.

"We can assist them in opening their own business," she stated.
