Transjakarta Launches Program From Water to GoodnessThe 15 groups of beneficiaries included: civil servants of the Jakarta Government, retired civil servants, contracted employees of the Jakarta Government, students receiving KJP Plus, residents of Rusunawa (low-cost apartment), PKK Empowerment Team, and employees with salaries equivalent to the minimum wage. They can register via the registration scheme at Bank DKI.
Registration through Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta applies to: residents with an ID card from Seribu Islands, recipients of Raskin residing in the Greater Jakarta, members of the military/police, Indonesian veterans, people with disabilities, seniors over 60 years old, religious leaders, early childhood educators, as well as members of Jumantik, Karang Taruna, Dasawisma, and Posyandu.
The free public transportation service for Jakarta residents will use the Free Service Card (KLG) from Transjakarta and a digital system. Registration can be done through the Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta applications, including the registration process, verification, data validation, card production and distribution, and activation of the card in both physical and digital forms.
He explained the registered community members with a Transjakarta KLG card could use it directly to access free services on the MRT Jakarta and LRT Jakarta.
He also delivered other good news. On April 21, coinciding with Kartini Day, the Jakarta Government would provide free services for Transjakarta, MRT, and LRT Jakarta specifically for female passengers.
"In celebration of Kartini Day on April 21, free rides for female passengers on Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta," he explained.
Aside that, to commemorate Public Transportation Day on April 24, 2025, the entire community can also enjoy Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta services for free.
"On April 24 coincides with Public Transportation Day, all people can ride Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta and LRT Jakarta for free," he stated.
