"Jakarta has three problems namely traffic congestion, flood, and poverty," Rano said.
According to the data, Rano stated poverty and stunting are concentrated in certain areas without getting spread to others.
Residents living in high concentrating areas of poverty and stunting have their own character. It means specific approach is needed to solve the problem.
As for solving stunting, Rano assessed the approaching is not only applied for baby. It must be started before marriage and during pre-pregnancy.
"Stunting in Jakarta is in certain areas. It must be solved. But the approaching should be specific," Rano added.
According to him, relationship between the community and the Community Health Center is still not well established. Information on handling efforts is likely not distributed optimally.
"Stunting must be anticipated before marriage. It will be our focus," Rano stated.
