Law Enforcement for Heavy Vehicle Emission Test Violators Starts TodayShe explained emission testing in South Jakarta is a routine agenda once a week at the sub-district office or the South Jakarta Environment Agency office, with targets to achieve 200 vehicles for the first quarter, 300 vehicles for the second quarter, and 500 vehicles for both the third and fourth quarters.
"We have held emission tests on more than 319 two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicles, both public and operational service vehicles," she explained.
Aside that, another emission tests were also spotted at 108 workshops. For the workshop, the results are no longer recorded on paper, but directly entered into the e-Emission Test application.
"I call on the public, especially students and office workers, to prioritize public transportation over private vehicles, thus Jakarta's air becomes better and cooler," she stated.
